Damian is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist interest in knee surgery, including sports injuries, ligament reconstruction, meniscal repair, and knee replacement (partial and total).
Before pursuing a career in medicine, Mr Bull completed a degree in engineering and worked for a multinational engineering firm in Switzerland. His engineering background sparked a natural interest in orthopaedics, where precision, mechanics, and innovation intersect with patient care.
He studied medicine at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and completed his orthopaedic training in the Yorkshire and Humber region, where he also undertook a prestigious national leadership and management fellowship.

Mr Bull was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Specialist Knee Surgeon at Harrogate District Hospital in 2021.
Damian is passionate about surgical education and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCME). He regularly teaches trainee surgeons and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
He is also actively involved in clinical research, with multiple publications to his name and a history of delivering presentations at national and international conferences.
